Mrs. Frances “Frannie” Uitto
A member of the ECC Support Services team since 2022, Ms. Uitto wears many hats. As the Home School Coordinator for the Chatham Zone, on any given day you might find her reviewing data with her schools, coordinating outside services for students and families, or traveling the back roads of Pittsylvania County making home visits. She also works closely with schools and families in the coordination of virtual instruction and medical homebound services and serves on several division and community provider teams.
Ms. Uitto was born and raised in Danville and was a 2002 graduate of George Washington High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Radford University and taught 8th grade English for eight years in Henry County. After completing her graduate degree in 2018, she transitioned to School Counseling and served at Dan River Middle School for four years. In her free time, Ms. Uitto enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her husband and two children.
