Employee of the Week - Christopher Keen

Stony Mill Elementary School is pleased to announce that Mr. Christopher Keen has been chosen as the “Employee of the Week.” Mr. Keen has worked at Stony Mill for the past 8 years. He began working at Stony Mill as a special education assistant. He later transitioned to the role of a teacher’s aide and ultimately to a full-time custodial position. While working at Stony Mill, Mr. Keen has demonstrated his versatility and desire to serve others. Mr. Keen’s peers routinely mention his hard work ethic, attention to cleanliness, and his willingness to go above and beyond normal custodial duties in order to help faculty, staff, and students. Mr. Keen takes pride in his work and will make sure his duties are completed to a high standard.
Mr. Keen is a native of Pittsylvania County and is a product of Pittsylvania County Schools. He graduated from Chatham High School in 2004. He currently attends Danville Community College where he is enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program. During his free time, Mr. Keen enjoys cooking, baking, drawing, singing, and helping his friends and family. Congratulations to Mr. Keen on his much deserved selection as Pittsylvania County Schools’ Employee of the Week.
