Brosville Elementary School (BES) is pleased to recognize Shermaine Millner as the Employee of the Week.
Shermaine has lived in Pittsylvania County her entire life and graduated from Tunstall High School. She also attended Brosville in the 7th grade when it was a middle school. She came to work in the cafeteria at BES in 2016 after working in retail for approximately 20 years.
She has two wonderful children. Her daughter, Jessika, attends Danville Community College. Her son, Josh, attends Tunstall Middle School.
When not taking care of everyone at BES, she enjoys spending time at home, shopping online, and listening to music. She especially enjoys her time with her family.
Shermaine loves BES and being able to see the smiles on all the children’s faces at breakfast and lunch every day. It always brings her joy.
The faculty and staff describe her as always having a smile on her face and being a ray of sunshine for our students. Mrs. Anderson, Cafeteria Manager, says she is a very important part of the BES cafeteria staff, and they love working with her.
