It is with Trojan PRIDE that Tunstall High School recognizes Mr. Danny Booker as the Pittsylvania County Schools' Employee of the Week. Mr. Booker is one of the valuable members of our custodial staff. He joined our Trojan family almost three years ago.
Prior to joining our family, he worked in the diesel mechanic industry. He proves on a regular basis that he possesses many talents that benefit our school. He is always willing to assist in any way he can, and he completes tasks with pride. His skills benefit our school, both inside the building and outside on our grounds.
When asked about what he enjoys most about his job, he stated that he likes to stay busy and work steadily at his own pace. He does not like to “wait for work to come up." He strives to do his very best in all situations.
Mr. Booker has one son, Joshua Uncle. In his spare time, he enjoys arts and crafts, kayaking, hiking, and loves being “outdoors.”
We are thankful that Mr. Booker joined our family. He is definitely a source of Trojan PRIDE! Congratulations, Mr. Booker.
