Employee of the Week
We are proud to select Ms. Medina Miller as Employee of the Week for the Central Office. As “the voice and face” of Pittsylvania County Schools, Ms. Miller always greets the public and assists parents, students and employees with a smile. She handles all aspects of substitute employees including reviewing applications and scheduling orientation sessions.

Ms. Miller has served Pittsylvania County Schools for over 40 years. She has worked in the past at Union Hall Elementary School and Gretna Middle School. She has also served as Administrative Assistant for Support Services and currently serves as Administrative Assistant for Human Resources. 

She has been married to Tyrone Miller for 36 years. They have two wonderful daughters, Brittany (Future) and Kersha. She has a grandson, John, who will be graduating from high school in May and a grand-dog named Ice.

Ms. Miller is an active member of the Fairview Baptist Church where she serves as the Clerical Secretary. She also serves in several organizations including member of the Pastor’s Aide, Program Committee, and Deaconess Board. Ms. Miller also enjoys singing with the Voices of Fairview.

Ms. Miller loves spending time with her family and friends, shopping, traveling, watching Lifetime, and reading in her spare time. Ms. Miller said, “I am honored to be chosen as Pittsylvania County Schools Employee of the Week by my co-workers.”
