The Maintenance Department would like to recommend Robbie Ward as “Employee of the Week”.
Mr. Ward has a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) for the county. He was involved with the HVAC controls for the renovations of the high schools and other projects in the county.
Robbie and his wife, Donna, have been married for 13 years and have been together for 23 years. They have two sons, Hampton, age 11 and Abel, age 7. They share the love of family and being outside.
Robbie Ward is an avid camper. He and his family enjoy going to the lake every weekend. They also like "off-roading" and have begun appreciating mountain biking.
Robbie Ward enjoys working with youth and began coaching
baseball for the County league 8 years ago. He and his family are also active members of Cornerstone Church of Christ.
Robbie graduated with an advanced diploma from Amherst County High School. While in high school, he participated in track, cross-country, and baseball.
He has been employed with Pittsylvania County Schools for almost two years. Robbie is a team player and always willing to help.
His expertise and skills definitely compliment the Maintenance Family.
