Last Thursday, May 16th, Pittsylvania County Schools held its Graduate of Merit Ceremony, honoring the remarkable achievements of 98 recipients, celebrated with families, friends, educators, and community members. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Graduate of Merit program, which has honored 2,789 students over its history. A total of $73,300 in scholarships was awarded this year. We congratulate all the 2024 Graduates of Merit and extend special congratulations to our 2024 Pinnacle Award Winner, Ashlyn Chappell of Dan River High School.
