Last week, the Pittsylvania County Schools Board recognized the 2024 Valedictorians and Salutatorians from each of the four high schools and two of its institutions (Dan River, Chatham, Gretna, Tunstall, Piedmont Governor’s School, and the Academy of Engineering and Technology). The School Board also highlighted the invaluable contributions of the 2023-2024 Student Representatives while warmly welcoming the 2024-2025 Student Representatives.
Towards the conclusion of the Board Meeting, Shemariah Jones, a student from Chatham High School, was recognized for her achievement in securing second place in the VSBA Art Showcase.
