Vacancy: Director of Piedmont Governor's School for
Math, Science, and Technology
The purpose of the Piedmont
Governor’s School for Mathematics, Science, and Technology (PGSMST)
is to provide a regional math, science and technology
educational program for highly motivated, high achieving and
gifted students to supplement the educational programs of
Henry and Pittsylvania Counties and the cities of Danville
and Martinsville. The Governing Board of the Governor’s
School appoints a Director, who serves as the chief
administrative officer of the Governor’s School.

Work Order System
The web-based work order system for requesting Information
Technology assistance has been updated. This new format is
designed to allow more interaction between the technician
and staff. Staff members using this new system will now
receive e-mail notification that the work order has been
entered into the system as well as follow up e-mails
informing them of the status of their work order.
Additionally, this new system will route the work order
request to the appropriate technician who can then directly
contact staff should questions arise. (More)
